Rossendale Alive is our vision for Rossendale 2020 and beyond.
There is a mood for change and a new can do attitude in Rossendale. We've listened to you and plan to take action in areas that you feel are most important.
By 2020 we want Rossendale to be a place where people from all backgrounds aspire to live, work and visit.
The Rossendale Partnership
Rossendale Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the Borough of Rossendale. Its primary purpose is to bring together organisations in the public, private, voluntary, community and faith sectors in Rossendale to improve the quality of life for all those who live or work in the borough.The Rossendale Partnership aims to bring Rossendale Alive. By working in partnership, a greater understanding of community needs develops along with the ability to develop solutions by using the expertise of all the public sector, community groups, local businesses and volunteers.
Community Strategy
The Rossendale Partnership has produced the Community Strategy which sets out the long term plan for Rossendale's success. The Strategy is being delivered through eight thematic groups. Each theme group has developed its own delivery plan with clear, performance managed targets.The Community Strategy was produced through extensive community consultation. The Rossendale Partnership recognises the changing needs of the community and will review its Strategy periodically, at least every three years and through continuous engagement with the local community.
