Local Area Agreements
Lancashire Local Area Agreement (LAA) is a 3 year agreement between partners in Lancashire and central government to improve the lives and opportunities for people in Lancashire. LAA brings together funding streams and encourages agencies to co-ordinate planning and will transform service delivery by working in partnership.
The Lancashire Local Area Agreements are divided in seven blocks:
- Children and Young People
- Safer and Stronger Communities
- Healthy Communities
- Older People
- Economic Development
- Environment
- People and Communities
There are 35 LAAs and the Lancashire Partnership together with each of the district LSPs have agreed targets against each of the LAAs. Rossendale specific LAA targets are now available. Rossendale Partnership will be working towards achieving the Rossendale targets.
Rossendale Partnership fully supports the Lancashire LAA and will be working closely with its partners to help deliver the district targets set out in the LAAs.
